Description
There are four power methods. Spring, Gas Ram CO2, or Pre charged Pneumatic. The maximum power permitted by UK law is 6ft lbs. Power tends to vary according to the model and purpose. There are two calibers. The most popular is the lighter .177pellet or 4.5mmBB, or .22 pellet usually selected for small pest control. Models can be multi shot, or single shot, the latter enables .177 darts to be used on some models. Multi shot pistols either use a rotating magazine, or a spring loaded push mechanism within the magazine for 4.5mm BBs.
